We Built the Universe We Always Wanted

MetaTravelers was founded in 2022 with a single conviction: the collectibles market deserved original mythology – characters with real lore, real sculpts, and stories that go somewhere. Not a licensed adaptation. Not nostalgia bait. Something new. Since then we’ve shipped two waves of Legendari action figures to collectors across North America, funded two Kickstarter campaigns, and built a universe spanning 15 characters, two factions, and a multiverse of interconnected worlds called the Chainworlds. We’re just getting started.

The Universe

MetaTravelers Legendari is set across the Chainworlds – an interconnected multiverse linked by the Nibiru portal network. The Nibiru are the primary species: explorers, warriors, seekers, and zealots whose conflict with the parasitic Spyte organism drives the central story. Every figure in the line has a place in that mythology. Every character has an origin, a faction, and an arc. The lore isn’t decoration – it’s the engine the whole line runs on.

Andy Lanning – Universe Writer

MetaTravelers was built with Andy Lanning, co-creator of the Guardians of the Galaxy – the cosmic Marvel universe that became a global franchise. Andy has spent decades writing deep-lore, character-driven stories at Marvel, DC, and independent publishers.

For MetaTravelers, Andy brought that same cosmic storytelling DNA to a fully original universe. He co-created the Chainworlds mythology, the Nibiru species, the Spyte faction, and the character arcs for every figure in the line. He isn’t a name on a box. He built the world these figures live in.

Four Horsemen Studios – Sculpture & Engineering

The Legendari figures are sculpted and engineered by Four Horsemen Studios, one of the most respected names in collector-grade action figure design. Their work delivers 29 points of articulation, premium hard and soft goods, and the kind of detail that earns shelf space in serious collections.

Ant Williams – Visual Co-Creator

Ant brings decades of Marvel and DC comic art experience to the MetaTravelers visual language – the faction aesthetics, character silhouettes, and the visual grammar of the Chainworlds.
